My final Night v 0.1 skin, oh and AllXBoxSkins wont answer my e-mail so i can upload a larger file than 3 meg so if anybody reads this tell me how to send it there please

For my first skin i like it alot ,sorry for the poor picture my provider as a 120k limit for files but believe me it looks good

What do you think?

Thks guys, Well i have a intro pic basicaly the same but darker and loading writen on the bottom, the background is not a wma cause it slowed my skin to much, but i did a litle stream window for the xbox info and it does have the newsfeed to

No screen saver tho

Yeah its the same pic, was to lazy to make another hehe, spent to much time working on the skin

And i dont know why but whenever i have wma videos for my primary folders (apps, games and emu) after 10 minutes or so it freezes the xbox.

And it does slow down my skin, its like if i have to many things moving it will slow down and or freeze the xbox.

I think that lot of people use folders to hold all their media.
That might have something to do with it.

Also, was your wma a long one or was it short and looped?

Short and loop, and my wma where all in separate folders, i didnt make a media folder with all wma in it. Should i?

Wasnt so bad exept the freezing part but as soon as i added a moving background then it was slow as hell.

But now no more freezing since i have png instead of wma for my folders.

I don't think it matters where the media is.

I was just thinking that if you had a long .wmv then that might be cause the slowdown.

As far as I know you havent sent an email... or... with all the "new skin uploaded - notifications" i get it could possibly have been deleted. Im usually pretty good about not doing that..but anything is possible with my dumba55.

Did you use [email protected], or [email protected] ?? if not Im sure none of our other emails have transfered over (we were too lazy to create them) like [email protected] <<--dont use that one. I think the upload form needs to be update cause if i remember right, it gives that email address.

The answer to your solution isnt easy. You could provide a web link or ftp where i can get it. You could use one of the ftps being provided by a few of our wonderful MXM forum members or you could break it into 2 seperate files and email it to me. If you have MSN Messenger, you could send me a PM (Forum PM) and I will give you my info .. and we can transfer it that way.

Either way you choose. .. Please include the same information that our upload form requests in a text file with your skin, so when i post it....you have what you want.

I am hoping to re-open our pub ftp soon.. I need to get a good backup first and have our host make sure its locked down pretty tight. I cant continue to afford the time it takes to fix the site again...and again.. and again.
