how do i use a downloaded skin in mxm 9n3?

i dont have a mxm.xml in my dir. and thats where all the people say to put in the info

look just create a folder named "skins"in the directory your executable is in and copy your skin in it's own individual folder into this folder

Like BenJeremy said, the search button would do the trick.


make a folder on one of your drives for example c:\MXMskins

Put all your downloaded skins into this folder ( don't forget to unrar/unzip them first).

Now, when you download the mxm dashboard and unrared it, there was a mxm.xml file included, transfer this file to your xbox.

edit it with this line <skinspath>C:\MXMSkins</skinspath> where mxmskins is your newly created mxmskins folder on the xbox.

Restart your xbox and set your skin through the config menu.

I've also updated the User's Guide and posted it to the Tutorials Page, where you can find a link to it.

I may do a bit more updating to it before tonight's release, which will include the latest revisions.

I added a couple pages on configuring your skins.

like i said there is no mxm.xml in the mxm folder. i thought maybe he had changed it in 9n3, i guess ill just have to re-download it. i always search before asking questions and since i didnt see anything about noone having a mxm.xml i asked.

ok, what the hell. i downloaded mxm 9n4 from xbins and there is no mxm.xml. do i have to make this file?

nevermind, the mxm.xml is in the Dash_Config.rar i got it, sorry for all these lame posts.
