The one I have looks pretty damn good with it all in that font except for the name entry. There doesn't seem to be any problems at all

LOL it should look like the screenshot, if not it was changed so many times that, he forgot which one to put up. It's funny because it's been downloaded about 90 times and only god knows how many versions are floating around.

KF, make sure the correct version is up, with the circular thumb and the blended font color, the only problem is with the "name" entry, it is a different font then the others. I plan on working on that and releasing yet another version tomorrow, so look for it. Also my new skin LiveWire should be ready tomorrow so check back for that too.

LiveWire 0.9 biggrin.gif

There is another skin, that is currently in the workings. It is set up with the same format as the last one, so it wont take long. This skin will support Newsfeeds unlike SecurityX

Great man, the one that supports newsfeeds looks even better!

I just downloaded this skin from AXS and it has the square pics and the err... text areas (you know what I mean) aren't blended at all.
I want it to look like the one in the preview pic! smile.gif

really? It shouldnt.  I will download it from the site.. install fresh on my box and check it out.

on a side not.. you can get rid of the black borders by hitting Y once if that is indeed the case.

Well, one discovery I made... with my "Matrix" skin as my test bed, I recreated the alpha masking problem (I also added an option to eliminate the fade in, if desired).

Moving the alpha masked TV set to the end of the layout, and displaying the menu (which uses old fonts) eliminated the fade in. Putting the delay timer back in the menu displayed the problem again.

Interesting... at any rate, you may benefit from using the default font somewhere before any alpha masked textures.

Hmmm... confirmed. I'm goingtolook atthe Font "4" rendering routines to see what might be doing the trick and get my textures rendered using the same states.

Almost there!

I think I've fixed the alpha problem... it's in the latest "WIP" update, for those with access.

I'd appreciate some feedback on if this solves the problem for this skin.
