Well, you have <xIP> instead of <IP>.  That should solve the FTP problem, because you also have DHCP disabled, so you need to set a static IP..  As for skins, are the skin's folders directly beneath C:\MXMSkins (with the mxm_skin.xml directly below that)?  Like so:

C:\MXMSkins\Devoid\mxm_skin.xml
C:\MXMSkins\Blister\mxm_skin.xml

And so on..

Well like I said before, do you have your setup like that?  And, what version of MXM are you using one of the 0.9n releases?

Well, if your using the <Skinspath> tag it must be 0.9n

I have the MXMSkins folder in C:  .  I put the ETM skin inside of that with no sub directories.  I have a the files for the skin inside MXMSkins.  And yes I am using 0.9n1

Tried MXM cuz Evox sux horsedick on 1.1 xboxes (had like 50% lockups)

MXM looks like its working on my xbox but havent tried it fully, one thing that got my attention was the lack of example ini (xml) files, however i found this thread and looked to get my skins to work, i have 0.9n and have put all my skin files in subdirs of Skins (like thetruethugg´s example above)  but i can only see the default skins in the skin selector in Config.

Heres my mxm.xml, please help.

<Config>

<Main>
<DiscTitle>Media X Menu</DiscTitle>
<DiscSubtitle>Matrix Test Configuration</DiscSubtitle>
<SkinsPath>C:Skins</SkinsPath>
</Main>

<IP>192.168.2.28</IP>
<DNS1>0.0.0.0</DNS1>
<DefaultGateway>192.168.1.1</DefaultGateway>
<SubnetMask>255.255.255.0</SubnetMask>
</Network>

<Preferences>

<Nickname>Arcade Xbox</Nickname>
</Preferences>

<FTPServer>

<Name>xbox</Name>
<Password>xbox</Password>
</User>
</FTPServer>

</Config>

BTW im using DHCP but the GTW still is static, know why?
