Some Skin Mxm Questions

Having trouble figuring out what exactly these things do.. can somebody throw me a bone here...
In the <LayoutElement Type=”Menu” Source="MXM"> I was wondering what each of these things do..

<SelPos>2</SelPos>
<NumItems>5</NumItems>
<ScrollFactor>3</ScrollFactor>

NumItems is the number of items that will be displayed in the menu block.

SelPos is the position in which the highlighted 'current' item will be (from the top).

ScrollFactor is the speed of the smooth scrolling. Higher is faster. Pixels/frame
