Finally A Solution To Fontbundler Problems
« on: July 01, 2003, 05:57:00 PM »

The problem I'm talkin about

Anyways, this is how I got it to work. Open up the FontMaker and get your font. Then press print screen (to capture the blue box with the font) Save the font files. Then open up MS Paint and paste the screen capture into the workspace. Now use the square marquee tool to select only the blue square. and copy it.

Then open Photoshop and paste the blue section you copied in MS paint into it. Now just erase the blue background so all that's left is the white text. Save it as the same name as the the .tga file made by FontMaker and overwrite it (cause you shoud save it to the same directory as where the abc file is.)

Now open FontBundler and load the tga file made in photoshop and press build.

That's how I finally go it to work for me. I suppose you could do it all in Photoshop but I like the simplicity of copy/cutting and pasting (espesially with screencaptures) in MS Paint.

Wow... that's awfully convoluted. AFAIK, you are the only person to have such grief with the tool.

Doh.... what a dumbass I've been!! LOL.... the Bundler AND the FontMaker are both included in FULL SOURCE CODE FORMAT!

So I guess some kind soul might just release an all-in-one tool in the future  rolleyes.gif
