Has Anyone Tried The Xbox Vga Adapter?
« on: December 27, 2002, 07:53:00 PM »

I was thinking about purchasing this...Xbox VGA Adapter

Has anyone here had any experience with it?  How well does it work?  does it support 1024 X 768 or higher?

Here is another type VGA BOX  but I heard this only supports 640 X 480.  If anyone has any input on either on this it would be great

Thank you
Nate

Make sure you get one that produces TRUE 480p for the Xbox. Don't get the one with multiple AV hookups. It's junk, I just got rid of mine on eBay...

lol  how can I tell if it does or not?  Does the Xbox VGA adapter that I posted above have that?

Do you know of any other VGA adapters that do?

Thank you

damn, just get a TV. Those things are $50 and $80.

EDIT: is resolution even a factor with those things?

The reason why is that I have a small tv but I have a nicer monitor and bigger monitor, and since I live at college  (in the dorms) most of the year I can't really have a nice big tv.  And so I have smaller or same size tv and its an older tv. I rather use my monitor. Sorry lol

just curious if anyone had any experience with those I mentioned above and how goo they were

Eagle5469, this forum is not that frequently visited so don't go posting every 30 minutes. The mods don't like that.

every two-three days is fine but just not every 30 minutes.
