It has been discussed enough times. Momdad created the ericsson logo, and he created the MXM logo. So he's not copying off anyone but his own ideas. Yes, he used the ericsson logo as inspiration, but again, it's not copying off anyone's work.

its funny how so many people have bitched about this, but so many voted in favor of the logo. it IS the new logo, and it will stay that way. all i care about is the next release of mxm.

Basically, i loved the logo when i saw it used by sonyericsson, and i love it now. And i really know so very little about copyright law, only which applies to me.

MOD EDIT: This is all that needed to be said, how does copyright apply to MXM?
I mean cmon its built with the XDK which last time I checked wasn't exactly on the right side of the law. Second, Sony Ericsson cares about a Logo used for a program that was built with the XDK for modded XBox', wow, throw me another line please..

in my opinion, saying MomDad's logo looks like the Sony Ericsson logo is like saying MookieConster's logo looks like the N64 logo. Honestly, it's not all that similar. Great work on the part of everyone.
