Actually just re-reading your post....did you set your IP settings in EVOX?  you can ftp into dash with the EVOX disk in drive, so it may have bypassed your sys based ip settings in lieu of disk.

no, mxm isnt my primary dash, im using the audio exploit.
and no i cant ftp to evox, because my xbox isnt getting an IP.
im using a crossover, and i was able to ftp without a problem yesterday, its just honestly in the blink of an eye, something messed up and the ip changed to 0.0.0.0 and now i cant connect.

I have absolutely zero knowledge of the audio hack...but never the less I shall endeavour to help you as best I possibly can.  Anyway, I know from personal experience that an Evo disk will allow you to FTP in, for whatever reason it bypasses the the system and reads from the disk for an IP, since Evos' preset IP is 192.168.1.200,  I could be very wrong in that presumption, but worked in that regard from my limited understanding.
If you still have the ability to access evox dash, go into settings and set the IP there, make sure you scroll to the bottom of the menu when done to hit the "ACCEPT" or whatever button or the settings wont take effect.  You have probably done this but helps to double check.  It took me 2 days of reading and re-reading of these posts to eventually figure out how to set my connection up properly, and the only thing that caused the delay was not scrolling to the bottom of the menu to hit accept.  That's about the extent of what I can provide, check the forums as much as possible, the information listed in these forums is mindblowing....
