your IP is 192.168.1.18
and your gateway is 192.168.0.1
your IP should probably be 192.168.0.18 then

anyways other than that your mxm.xml and menu.xml appear to be fine, so try these few suggestions I have pointed out and let us know how it goes...

Sounds like a preview video problem.
One of them must be windows media 9.
I take it when it auto loads the menu there are no preview videos?
If so then you need to convert one of the videos from wm9 to wm8 as mxm doesn't suppor wm9.

I don't get why you would want to restrict an app to a certain skin.  That might be doables through a script that checks the skin name, and then launches the dash depending on that.  However, ava's entry would still be visible in the menu for all skins.

huh?

maybe i should rephrase the question.

in mxm's default skin, i can load avalaunch from the dashboards menu
now if i change the skin, avalaunch is still listed in the dashboards menu, except that it wont load.  it just hangs on the accessing screen.
