Static Ip Help
« on: February 09, 2004, 09:12:00 AM »

I am running mordens V.3 with a 160gb maxtor, I use xbmp, and dvd2xbox. When I first started using my IP was not static then all of a sudden I got a static IP and a gateway and subnet mask where gateway & subnet were 0. I have not changed anything in mxm.xml? How does this happen? How can I fix it? I have reinstalled the hack and also tried deleting xbmp neither of which remedied. I know that Im an idiot and this is probably something simple, but I cant figure it out. I am using a dual nic config and the static ip makes it complicated to configure in order to ftp.
Thanks in advance.

If there are no settings in the MXM.xml file, then MXM simply uses the last settings, which are likely to have been set by Evo-X or in your case, by XBMP.
