OK, after a painful mess of re-inventing the wheel, I've discovered I had to patch my libraries to get it to work correctly.

I uploaded new "WIP" binaries for those who want to check it out.

Have you figured out how to get to the root folder in the memcard yet?

Yes, that should be in there (though I forgot to upgrade the number of cards to something reasonable - the version I've got HERE now supports up to 6)

Oh, and you can plug the memory cards in anywhere now - the first controller hosts memory slots that map to H: and I:, instead of the Xbox's default of F: and G:

Now I can get back to the dialog stuff, for a bit.

Left "To Do":

System UI (Dialog and controls)
Plug-and-play ActionScripts (Auto-loading, events, periodics)
File Manager
More attention to Image management
More attention to DVD-R mode (Aggressive optimizations)

Cool
And don't forget to modify the menu input a bit so it doesn't cut off animations wink.gif

That should already be in there. The menu option will progress, of course, but the smooth scroll continues in place.

Yeah, I noticed that.  But I would like an option of not progressing the menu selection.  And maybe a trigger-controlled speed increase.

The thing is that loading previews while scrolling this fast completely kills the animation, even though my vids are pretty low bitrate.

I could have an overridable option on that.

As for the issue of the preview videos, I believe this is because of the initial loading of the video. As I will revisit this for a couple days this week, hopefully I can smooth that out a hair.

Ok, the overridable scrolling option is cool.
