Just need help perfecting the soundtrack editor , im new and got the basic downs but when i upload the wma files on my box they sound slow, im encoding the mp3 with windows media series 9, I keep seeing series 8 being used but i cldnt find it so i went ahead with 9 a nd the songs play and work just that when i start up my mxm screen they play slow. How can i fix that?

What skin are you using?  Try changing your skin.

Did the same for me using advanced wma encoder I found that if I encoded them at 96kps instead of 128 they saounded ok

I personally use the WMA encoder included with the 1st version of M$ Plus for Windows XP, all mine are encoded at 192kbps and play fine. I am using the MXM Amp skin as my default, but have not experienced "lag" in playback in any other skin either. All of them are WMA 9 to let you know....

i read some of your replies again but seems to me i guess i need to take it down a bit and try the lower Kps but windows media is ok or what is another i can try out?
