could anyone tell me what tools are need for converting from .bik files?
also, is the xmv format similar to wmv? and if so, can xmv files be added to mxm? or would i still need to convert to wmv?

I think RAD video tools can convert bik files.  Or maybe they're just for viewing.

AFAIK, xmv files cannot be converted to wmv, unless you video capture using your video card.

Mods - Can we get a poll to see how many people would be interested in an XMV to avi (wmv 8?) viewer and converter.

no need for a poll.... everyone wants it!   you got one?

Seriously.. the desire for such a tool has existed in this forum for a long time.

Just make sure it will encode in wmv8 and 7 for video,  9 for audio

Wish I did.  I finally got the sdk to compile an xbe format viewer, but that doesn't really help with win32.  Still looking at the format and comparison between xmv and wmv, but not quite there.  Really need the help of some better prgramers
