I've been using IsoCraxtion a while now, and it suits my needs well. However, the MXM skin that comes with it.... Not that I want to offend anyone that put that much work into something, but imho it s*cks. Takes too long to load, and the image in the tiny TV is too small.
The menuX skins are boring, same layout in every skin.
So, now I want my own skin for MXM, and been trying to dabble some making it. However, setting up a directory on my xbox HDD with MXM, to try out the skin I want, is less than succesful.
No matter what I do, MXM scans through my harddrive and comes up with some default screen with all the contents of my xbox.
Right now I put MXM in a single directory e:mxm and with a few test games below it in 4 subfolders.
So what do I want to achieve?
Nothing fanzy really, a very simple meny, just showing off a huge jpg image of the DVD cover of the game, and below it gamename/description. Moving the pad left/right changes to the next game on the disk.
So... when I can't even setup MXM on the harddrive to test my settings... how do I do?
