Mxm Menu Only Shows 3 Games

Support,

I've configured MXM to perfection (as far as I can tell) using the tutorial. I can get it to boot fine but when I go to my games list it only shows 3 games (out of 7 I have loaded onto the CD). I can actually select the 4th menu item (which is blank) and it says "HomeBrew" in the description field. Then the menu locks up. The other 3 games work fine. Would anyone be able to assist me with this? I assume that I am missing something.

This is used for a multi-game DVD-R compilation?

What does your MXM.xml file look like?

I'm using it for a multi-game DVD-R, correct. This is all I have in my MXM.xml:

<Config>

<DiscTitle>DVD 001</DiscTitle>
<DiscSubtitle>Collection of games</DiscSubtitle>

</Config>

Thanks,

Strict9

What's in your Menu.xml then?

I actually used MXM_Entry.xml and made seperate files and put them in each game directory. To my knowledge it should pick each of those up automatically (as it did for 3 of them). This is the format:

<Config>

Game Title

Game Description

</Config>

I put one of these files in each game directory as well as the images. The odd part is that it picked up 3 of the games. Maybe one of the games is causing the problem? I'm sure that the 4 games that are not showing up have the same formatting in there MXM_Entry.xml. I also find it odd that the 4th entry in the menu (when I boot up) has a blank title with a description of "HomeBrew". Where do you suppose it's getting that from.

In "DVD-R" mode, MXM only scans the immediate subdirectories. Partly, this is to avoid delaying too long.

This means all of your games must "live" exactly one level below:

D:\
D:\SensitiveX
D:\XMarbles
...and so forth...

It shouldn't matter, but are all of them named "default.xbe"

You can always make specific menu entries.
