Started Mxm As My Dash
« on: August 24, 2003, 09:52:00 AM »

Alright so last night I installed mxm as my main dash and I'm loving it, I'm currently using the LiveWire 2 skin. So far I have a few problems though:

1. I can no longer access my xbox through ftp

2. Newsfeed wont show up and I know its correct in the xml

3. Is there a reset TO boot from disc option like in evox (this way I don't have to keep my tray open just to make a game not play)

4. Where can I get jpgs for actually apps

5. If there is nething else you recommend I do with my MXM please post

you will need to use a evox/mxm boot cd with the appropriate Network settings.   Boot to that, connect to ftp using it.. then fix the one on your hard drive.

Where can I get that? Shouldn't there be a way to change this setting????

Glad most all is working now for you.

try changing the name from "newsfeed" to "user1" or "xs"

also,  is this the same?

<IP>192.168.1.104</IP>
<DefaultGateway>192.168.0.1</DefaultGateway>

You really should be running on the same range as mentioned before.  Both should be 192.168.1 or 192.168.0  for both xbox and pc...but not seperate like you have them now.
