See, what I want is for the dashboard to stop looking in the /E/TDATA/fffe0000/music/ so the skin will load the music in it's own music file. How can I do this?

Thanks,

Enable Global Music = NO in the preferences menus should turn off the music stored in the "official" ripped tracks database (I rechecked this last night)

Then MXM should play music from the local soundtracks (user-defined and skin-defined.)

I couldn't find that option on ethier menu.xml or MXM.xml, so on the MXM.xml I added <Global>false</Global>:

<Preferences>
<FTPPriority>highest</FTPPriority>
<SynchronizeClock>false/SynchronizeClock>
<Nickname>Dman's Xbox</Nickname>
<Global>false</Global>
</Preferences>

I still didn't get the music to stop from the xbox database, is this incorrect?

Thanks,
-dman

Hit "Y" then select "Configuration"

That's the "Preferences" I refer to.
