BTW, I left the autodir tags in the menu.xml file because I don't want to have to edit it everytime I add a new game or app.

Yeah, I had the same problem too and it pissed me off, either setup the menu the way you like and add every game/app manually each time or do autodir and get the descriptions to show up since it always double and delete duplicates does nothing.

So what I did was just make the skin I use not show the description, under the skin config file I just deleted the show secondary part that displays description.
