Try switching videomode.
PAL > NTSC or NTSC > PAL

get the Enigmah switcher at the usual places

Haha, Nice..I had to burn burn and burn again.  What program are you using to burn your isos?  I use nero and Discjuggler but only when nero does not work.  I have had the same problem before.  Hope my answer helps you out.

RecordNow Max (AKA Prassi PrimoDVD)

Nero sucks hard for DVD, but works great for CDs.

I'm trying to do some compilations.
I can't get these games to multi-game so far with MXM:
- NBA Street 2
- DOA3
- quantum Redshift
I seem to notice a trend, the largest game will not boot and the MXM_SS.jpg won't show up either on the menu screen.  I either get kicked out back to EvoX or it just hangs at the Now Loading screen.  I tried using both the Default and the Matrix skin and the results were the same.  The combined size never exceeds 4.0 Gigs.  I'm using one of the mxm.xml that RonJeremy posted in a thread somewhere that looks for stuff automatically.
whatever other games that were included in the compilations work but not the largest.
They're all patched and everything.  I've tried using xISO and the crashing Craxtion to create the ISO and thank God for DVD+RW's or else I'd have a $100 worth of coasters  laugh.gif
Oh and I also tried DVD-RW and they also failed.
X2.1 chip on a V1.2 Xbox., latest version of EvoX and X2 BIOS on each.

Try not launching the disc through Evo-X and see what happens.

Evo-X plays a few odd games with the app launching.

Why is Nero bad for Dvds?  I have been using it way before I owned a DVD+rw drive and it works just fine.  Just want to know why its soo bad for Dvds.

Thanks.

It isnt. I got away from using recordnow max and udf format.  I make the compilations, create an iso of the compilation using xiso  then burn that with nero ( i cancel out of the wizard and just use Burn Image from the menu.

I have never had a problem with the games using nero this way.

I make the ISO first then use the latest Nero to burn the image.
I used to use Primo but I got sickin' tired of wasting DVD-R blanks and for some reason it wouldn't work with my HP300i.  I hate burning my only DVD-RW at 1x so I end up using Nero.
The burning is fine, the disc loads and I get the full menu and everything.
Also, I  don't boot off EvoX.  I always power off then boot and it boots directly to the DVD+RW.
OH and how the heck do I do the PAL->NTSC and why should I have to do that?  I'm in North America and these games are North American.  I ripped them off the games I bought.
And these games boot fine off the HD and even by themselves when they're all alone on the disc (w/o menu of course).
No biggie I suppose but I was really hoping to offload some of my HD space doing it this way...
