Previews Not Working

Okay here's the story... the first day I went ape and copied a bunch onto my hd and they worked fine

Then I installed media 9 codec on accident (darn popup)

Now nothing that I add is working to my new apps....

Today, I did take one out of an old one from the first day and watched it then reinserted it and it's fine... what's the deal

M$ made the whole WindowsMedia codec a mess! First we had wm8, than wm9, and now all of a sudden lots of wm8 codecs aren't available anymore...

I have a PocketPC (=M$). I use MediaEncoder (=M$) to convert videos to wmv's, using the pocketpc preset. Then I try to play these wmv's on the MediaPlayer (=M$) of the PocketPC...... and have no sound!?!?  

Seems that M$ don't let you encode in wm8 audio (while PocketPC don't support wm9 audio yet).....   stupid, stupid.....

WM8 Encoder

The codec is still available... just hard to find.

I used to have it in my signature.... but the character limit screwed up that for now.

Perhaps Oswald could add it to the MXM Related Files post?

I posted it by IP because of the X-S M$ Filter....
