Ok this is quite a complex idea so go with me!
say i have pcsxbox installed without any cd images on my hard drive, and i have MXM as my dash. So normally to play games i would have to insert the dvd with my cd images on it and then scroll through my long list of games to get to pcsxbox. So heres the idea, to stop us having to do that hows about when we burn out cd images (or roms) to data disk we include a XBEID txt file on the disk. So this way when we insert the disk MXM recognises the XBEID as pcsxbox (or whatever the emu is) and automatically launches pcsxbox. Meaning no scrolling for us...Hopefully not too hard to implement...over to you big Guy!

If you wanted the same functionality in the mean time, just burn your emu to cd or dvd with the rom.

Yeah i know but not all roms fit on one dvd!
Plus i would have to create a gdf image or it would be very slow and i don't have no space

Possible.... having an identifier for the app in a standard fashion would most definitely be possible.

Let me think about how that would best be implimented....
