I'd like to see some sort of AlphaMasking.. meaning I can have an Overlay on top of the Preview videos or maybe even have a radial transparancy in the videos themselves so i could 'merge' them into the skin biggrin.gif

In fact, that's already possible...   since the PNG's support transparency, you can add a PNG over the previewvideo with selections visible, and some selections transparent. This gives the same effect as "videos with transparent areas"....

I've sorted out the problems with my ftp, sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks dude   biggrin.gif

I've paused uploading all my movies to the newsgroups, so I can finish the requested movies to Owald's server.

After I've finished with this, ánd posting to the newsgroups, I'll post ALL my movies to Oswald's server (if that's allright with Oswald   wink.gif)...

I still cant see them on his site...where r they plz?

I'd say look right here:

http://anotheruseles.../previewvideos/

They are in his user directory. When I get home tonight I'll copy them into the main collection as well.  I think it might be time to do another posting of the MXMResourceCollection to the newsgroups.  If anyone wants their media included with it, make sure it's on my site.

By the way nice vids TCB, keep up the good work.

Have you already grabbed them from the newsgroups, or do I need to upload them to your server?

I would like to see more sound related events, such as TitleOpen, TitleClose, MenuOpen, MenuClose e.t.c.
Playing a sound when the title appears will rock.

Everything else is cool though, i am just using evo as a dash, but i respect MXM and i think its the greatest as a compilation menu. beerchug.gif

I'm curious why you think Evo-X is better as a dashboard.

The only thing lacking in MXM compared to Evo-X is BIOS flashing and disc formatting, both of which it will have in a few weeks, but NEITHER of which you do on a daily basis (indeed, and Evo-X is quite able to do this as a secondary app). I might say IGR, but the Evo-X version is broken, for the most part - it's a feature I'd rather see well implimented in the BIOS (and even that's far from perfect yet)

You're right BenJeremi,

I "had" to switch back to Evox today to flash my Bios. And man, did that looked static! No sounds, no icons, no previewvideos, no icons, no moving backgrounds, no screensaver!

And besides flashing, Evox don't offer programs of itself. People think otherwise, since they use Slayer's installingCD. That way it might seems like all those programs are Evox'....

Yeah, once I get all the "action" stuff in, with the partition formatting and flashing, I'm sure :::wink::: there'll be a Slayer's type install disk with MXM - and it will ROCK.  laugh.gif
