Mxm Request Thread

I suppose it wouldn't hurt to add in a few requests.

1) <PREVIEWPATH></PREVIEWPATH>
This would allow you to designate a path to all of your preview images/video files.
MxM could search for video files with the same file names as the directory of the game, and automatically add them. MxM could first search for WMV, then image files. Maybe even setup <PREVIEWPATH1> <PREVIEWPATH2> and so on for multiple directories (in case you have seperate directories for videos and still images).

This would be a quick and easy way to add preview files, but also a way to centralize their location.

2) Some sort of indication that a user is logged onto the FTP server, and possibly even an event interpeter, so MxM can tell you if the user is downloading, uploading, connected, or disconnected from the server. You could incorporate this into skins.

What do you think?

Well, I will be adding some support for centralizing previews and such, later.

As for FTP usage indications, there is a "gadget string" that details the number of users online, but nothing more than that, at the moment.

Gotta new suggestion/request.

1) Add "speed" parameter to modifiers.
For instance, right now I'd like to be able to adjust the speed at which the bounce modifier makes the image bounc, and the speed at which the spaz modifier.. uh.. spazes. ;>

<MODIFIER type=bounce>
<BOUNDS speed="100".... etc

New suggestion.

Is is possible to make it so that from the FTP client (in my case FlashFXP), we can see how much space is left in the drives?

I think I was able to see that with Evox, but since the change have not seen it again.

This really helps when you are putting backups on the xbox and don't want to go to the utilities from the xbox itself.
