This isn't really a bug, just kinda weird..  Anyway, when you hit Y on the controller, it takes you to that menu, which you can easily exit with the back button..  However, if you hit menu on the controller, it takes you to the menu, but the navigation buttons and nothing works from the remote..  You must use the controller to exit, which is very annoying..

Edit:  spelling..

ok why won't the multi game disks launch with this release?!?!?  goddamn it mad.gif

Well, they do, in a way.... the menus come up. That does work for you, right?

It just didn't make sense to launch ANOTHER menu, when all I really needed to do was tack it in wink.gif

ok here is the problem, the menus does come up automatically "multi game disk" but when I attempt to launch the game It kicks back the report that the path is not valid to the xbe.  now I know this to be false for it has worked many times before.????

Ouch... I **had** tested this, and it was working. Hrrrmmmm....

I'll have to take a look at it when I get back next week (or maybe tonight, if I get time)

Update on the AceFTP 3.0 situation..  It works fine, but it's very slow..  I maxed out at 40.3 KB/s.  Which is damn slow when dealing with large files (would take an hour and a half at least to upload a 300 meg show.)

Update again.  When uploading to the xbox, the max speed I get is 40 some KB/s.  But, I just downloaded a few DOA3 screen dumps, and it was around 8k KB/s.  Or 7.8 some megs a sec...

I'll try and take a look a this when I return from my trip (a few days).

Please try FlashFXP and see what your speed is on that. Here I get 10megabytes/sec downloading (maxed out) and 5megabytes/sec uploading, so 40k is EXTREMELY dog-slow.

The thing is, I upped the size of the transfer packets, so that might be the problem - if it is, I'll make it adjustable in the next version. Of course, AceFTP might NEVER be very fast, if something that simple is causing it to bog down sad.gif It's really hard for me to understand the wide variance in performance of boh FTP Servers and Clients, because once I looked into it, it's really very simple; you connect, then read a file and send your packets until done. The only limiting factors SHOULD be the network speed, accessing the hard drive, and the relative size of the packets to reduce overhead.

By that, do you mean, never be very fast with MXM, or in general, cuz i get around 5k kb/s upload to xbox, and 10k kb/s downloading from xbox on evox..

i am getting speeds rangiong from 5000-7000 w/ evox and 6000-9000 with MXM although sometimes it wierds out and decides it will start at like 5000 and slowly work it's way up like 20 kb/s increase.  It is so weird.  That is only on transfers from pc to xbox.  the other direction flys.

And what are you currently using to obtain those speeds?

AceFTP 3.0, SmartFTP, Cute_FTP all can upload to the xbox at around 45kbps max (Why that is, I'm not sure).  This includes when using evox and nexgen.

AceFTP 2.0 cannot transfer files when using mxm at all.  When uploading to the xbox using MXM, it says "rejected by the host machine's software" or something like that, and when downloading, the file never actually goes through..  However, when FTP'n to and from the xbox while using nexgen or evox it works and with great speeds..

Because I seem to be the only one with this problem I beleive it must be me somehow, Maybe my mxm.xml is setup differently than most people's or something?

This really sucks..  Normally I wont be able to just bust out evox/nexgen to FTP at decent speeds, cuz I can't see what I'm selecting in the menu.  Cuz my PC and my TV/Xbox are seperated, I unhook my xbox, bring it up stairs set it down, plug it in, FTP and take it back down..  I just happen to bring my TV up these last few times, because I'm half ass working on a DOA3 skin, and I need to see it as I work on it..  But, unfortunatly, I may have to revert back to evox, just because it does infact have a working FTP, with great speeds...

This however wouldn't be soo bad, if I never used MXM, but once you see just how much better it is, than Evox, it makes going back to evox, which I once thought was great, seem like jumping into a giant tub of dog shit..

BTW, I'm not blaming you BJ (or any other MXM developers).  It's not your fault, it works for other people..
