There are quite a few errors with that.

1) You do NOT need to convert the movie using RADTOOLS.

If you have an, ahem, registered version of Quicktime, merely open the movie and export it as an AVI file.

2) The audio stream does NOT matter.

3) Do NOT set the output movie for 1500kbps. This is too darned high. Sheez it's NOT a DVD after all. (even that is high for DivX too!).

Instead try 320kbps or something lower. Even 128kbps gives acceptible results.

At higher speeds you'll merely eat up CD space and kill music playback on the menu.

4) 320x200 is sufficient, more is a waste of space.

5) You can do batch conversions with the WMencoder software.

6) Of course you can also add your own soundtracks for the menu.


BTW: Does anyone have any cool animated menu movies for the background.
