What Size Video?
« on: April 29, 2003, 08:17:00 AM »

MXM does a good job at resizeing it's screen shots but what's a good size for a video? 320x280? or should it be smaller?

Tips:

- Don't make it larger than 640x480.
- Keep the aspect ratio the same as the original.
- Preferably make the width and height the same as your viewport. (That way no resizing is necesarry and you have the output exactly as you created it without unexpected results.
- Don't blow up videos (don't make them bigger than the original).
- Leave framerate alone. (Could cause trouble with sound and imagequality if you screw it up)

BenJeremy ,,

MXM is my dash of choice . I REALLY like what this Dash has become (matured) . All of my friends are trippin seeing the intro while I'm choosing games and Apps(Finally I'm one step ahead of em & I love it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).
I can't wait to see your Matrix Skin . Kudos  beerchug.gif Ohhh by the way , Is there a way to move the Menu Selection down abit ? This would be great cause the Tao Feng Video I converted (Gotta Luv Vegas  biggrin.gif ) is in LetterBox & moving the menu selecter down abit would put it in the Lower Black Bar which Would be PERFECT for any LetterBox intro .......

That video is just a test. I like to figure out the settings before i start making videos. but the res looks find for me, i'm not looking for dvd quality video. can i check out ur video file? i would love to have the BG much play with out interruption. I'm not using any tags to activate the music i'm just letting MXM pick it at random.
