Patch Xbe? What?

Hi Every1.
I use Quix, what a bad ass program, thanks to all the programmers that have made this possible.
I have never used the Patch XBE Function, what is it, why do you need to batch the XBE?
Just wondering, I have never used it and was just wondering.

it patches the xbe so it can be ran from the hard drive.  the discs have a media code that tells them it is being ran from a disc.  if left unchanged you would get a DDE.
