Qwix is not just some lame GUI that operates over top of someone else's command line iso builder.  it is a complete, from the ground up, extremely effective iso tool in it's own right. It is unlikely the source for Qwix will ever be released, although I can assure you, work is still progressing.  

Qwix has an extremely high standard of quality to adhear to, so you are unlikely to see anything released until all the features are there and is rock solid.

Sheesh, it's already freeware, what more could you ask for?
