Didn't Devenic say in a previous post that if the people coding a dash want to add boost mode support to their dash, they just have to ask for the code?  QWIX cant FORCE itseld to use code that isn't there.

The normal FTP server in Avalaunch is known to currently have some speed issues.  Boost mode is supported for downloads, but Qwix doesn't currently take advantage of it while making an ISO.  Glad to see that Qwix was able to directly do the ISO create in 3 minutes and 10 seconds off of EvoX though.  That's not bad speed for 1.24 GB, translating to about 6.8MB/s.  But in the scheme of things, I think I'd rather spend an extra minute building the ISO so that I have the ease of selecting games from the Manage Titles list.

Avalaunch will get an FTP overhaul that should improve performance quite a bit on non-boost mode, but it will never be as fast as boost.

stop asking for unleashx support... its not going to happen.  you're the same kinda person that says: "all the dashboards should become ONE and everybody will be happy."  well that's just not right.  its been proven with business models so many times throughout history.  competition is good.  you just have to weight the advantages and disadvantages of each dash, and make you own choice.  period.

Actually I think dead guy is right. I think it was gonna happen in the past but I don't believe any other dash's aside from XBMP/XBMC will get boost support now.

that is understandable, because everybody (including the ava crew) uses XBMP/C as an app... and it is a KILLER app.  btw, glad you guys know some spanish, i only took one year of it, and got this screenname within that same year.

and for all those who suck and don't speak any foreign languages (ie Americans tongue.gif) it is pronounced moo-er-te, except with that slurred spanish accent.
