I have a similar problem.  Any solution?

Qwix connects and displays the root folder fine, but when I start to select a folder, it says ("Unable to navigate to /F").

Using which dashboard?  Some versions of EvoX had problems, so if you're using that, make sure you update to the latest version.

Thanks.  You were right on the problem.  I had the chance this evening to update the dashboard to evox 3935 from 3921.  It fixed the problem, but I don't know enough about the software as I lost access to all my games and utilities on the hard drive.  I switched back to 3921 and regained access to everything, but now QWIX does not work once again.

I did the evox update by copying over two files to the C drive - evox.ini and evoxdash.xbe.  I suppose I did this incorrectly.  Is there a faq anywhere on how to update the dash / evox, and retain access to all games, utilities, and programs on the HD?

Thanks

Take a look into the old evox.ini file and the new one. Maybe the big thing is that you havn't typed in the right path for your games and apps.

i had the same problem where i couldnt access my games. what i did was open up the evox.ini file and scroll down near the bottom. should look like this
[Menu]

Section "Root"
{
   Item "Launch DVD",ID_Launch_DVD
   Item "Trainers",ID_trainer
   Item "MS Dashboard",ID_MS_Dash
   Item "Reboot",ID_Quick_Reboot
#   Item "Power Cycle",ID_Full_Reboot
   Item "Power Off",ID_Power_Off
#   Item "Lock Harddisk",@210
#   Item "Unlock Harddisk",@211
   Section "System Utils"
   {
      Item "Settings",ID_Settings
      Item "Flash BIOS",ID_Flash_Bios
      Item "Backup",ID_Backup
      Item "Skins",ID_Skins
   }
   Section  "Launch Menu"
   {
      Section "Games"
      {
         AutoAddItem "e:\games\"
         AutoAddItem "f:\games\"
         SortAll
      }
      Section "Apps"
      {
         AutoAddItem "e:\apps\"
         AutoAddItem "f:\apps\"
         SortAll

notice under games you have this
Section "Games"
      {
         AutoAddItem "e:\games\"
         AutoAddItem "f:\games\"
         SortAll
      }

what i did was change AutoAddItem "e:\games\" to AutoAddItem "f:\HDDLoader\" and now i can access my games perfectly. my problem is...how do i get my emulators back up? on the old dash it was right there use emulators now its not. anyone know? thanks
