I have a 1.6b xbox with a xecuter 2.6 CE mod chip.  And was running Avalaunch xmas v.49 I think.  I attempted to replace the eeprom with one I got from a friend.  I followed the instructions configmagic, but it would not load the new eeprom.bin file.  I went through with ftp and replaced all the eeprom.bin and eeprombackup.bin files with the new one, but it would still not find it (would enter everything with 00s).  Now when I try to load my xbox with the modchip active it won't get past the xbox symbol with the 'xecuter rox my box' sign.  I have a laptop and an external HD for IDE drives.  No floppy drive on lappy.  How can I access my xbox HD to fix what I messed up?
