Video Resolution Wrong Since I Switched To Ava...

You have to update the dashboard to the newest version.  You can do that from within the Dashboard under 'Settings' i think.  Make sure you update all the options it gives.  Once you do that, reboot, and check again for more updates, until it says you have the latest version.  Hopefully at that point everything should look better.
