Searched through the forums and saw this question asked a couple of times with no answers posted. I have a TV capable of 720p/1080i... evrything looks real purty.

I started fiddling with making my own skins - what are the limitations on picture dimensions? I can't seem to make anything bigger than 640x480 appear. Seems I should be able to skin with 1920x1080...

I have XMBC showing pictures in higher resolution (haven't tried as background yet though) but it craps out on some images as well, I'm guessing over a certain resolution.

Any ideas?
