Something Not Right When Making Backup

well im trying to backup my halo2 disck and i have seen a lot of people saying the file size is 4.xxgb however when i use craxtion to bring the files over to my comp it is only 3.31gb when viewing the files and folders of halo 2 from my comp when connected to the xbox there are 3 folders and 4 files (not including the files in the folders) the folders are BINK MAPS and MEDIA the files are DASHUPDATE.XBE DEFAULT.XBE DOWNLOADER.XBE and UPDATE.XBE

it seems odd that when i load ninja gaiden i get a lot more files. also when i finally coppied halo 2 and insert it into my xbox it just loads evox as if no disk where in there. can anyone help?
