How Do I Flash My Bios?

Since having Avalaunch dash installed, I've noticed my dvd drive wont play dvds anymore ( but still plays games ). I want to flash my bios back to what it was but my menus are changed and dont have the " Flash bios " option anymore. Does anyone know any reason why I dont have the flash bios option anymore or how I get it back? Or does anyone know why my dvd drive isnt working? I would rather just try and get my dvd drive working than have to flash the bios.

use EurAsia Pro Generic Flash Disc v1.2 for flashing with Avalaunch

you mean it won't play dvd movies? did you use to play it from the msft dash or from DVDX2... you just have to put in the ava xml file where your movie player is like this for example:
<movieplayer enabled="1" path="F:\apps\dvdx2\default.xbe"/>

Also the flash bios option is only in evox.  Avalaunch does not currently support flashing your bios directly from the dash.  If you want to flash your bios while using ava dash I would get the app called FlashX and just load that.
