Make an iso out of the avalaunch files. Make sure in your root directory you have the default.xbe as well as the media folder and your xml. Should boot up no problem and then use filemanager to make changes to your files.

Why not try the new Avalaunch 0.48.2?
Together with Qwix 1.01 it's very easy to make a boot cd/dvd and
there is a "special" version out there to make multi game dvd..
