Is it possible to change the default username and password for the avalaunch ftp server? I saw a 'user management' entry in the ftp network settings, but it does not do anything when I select it.
Or can this be done through the avalaunch.xml?
Or is it possible to define an ip filter?

I prefer not to leave my xbox wide open...

nope, wide open is the only way atm
any user/pass will allow access

Then I change my question into a hint (hint, hint Avalaunch team, please add this option in later versions). I don't agree with you: if one of the machines gets hacked on my network they can format the hard drive of my xbox!

unless of course it's directly to net then i guess it may not be private

lol it doesn't matter, xbox users are cool until they do something to show otherwise
