I have 48.61. Is there an easy way to change the IP address to a static one using the menu? I go to Network, and turn off dhcp, then change the IP address, BUT it won't save it. No matter what I do, it is still the 192. defalut address. I've hit every darn button on the controller and dvd remote!

If I have to change my network settings to initially connect to it, which file do I edit to manually change it to a static?

Use the keypad in the network settings (clear button) enter your I.P and then hit Yellow button to O.K it.

in settings->network . if you got the one just after release, consider getting the update.
