Trainers And Multiplayer

Is there a way to have trainers in multiplayer games? i.e. System link? I would love to open a can on one of my buddies.

sorry, after a little reading, I saw that you have to host for it to work.

Is there a way to have only port one to have the cheat? ( so my buds won't know that I'm cheating)  Is there a way to tone the cheats down a little? say like 200% health and the like? (halo 2 )
