Gif Sigs, How Do I Make One?
« on: September 05, 2005, 02:58:00 PM »

Ive learned by simpley replacing a JPEG in the skins folder and naming the replaced one the same as the previous I can make what ever "desktop" I choose (Xecuter 3, using Evox dash)

It also seems I can create new skins without having to replace any.

How can I make an animated one work. It only recognizes JPEG. Here is my INI file

SkinName "RuDeDuDe V3","RuDeDuDe2"

[Skin_RuDeDuDe2]
Text = 30,130,0.5,0x000000,0,"<Time>"
Text = 28,132,0.5,0x808080,0,"<Time>"
Text = 620,420,0.5,0x000000,1,"<Name> V<Version>"
Text = 618,422,0.5,0x808080,1,"<Name> V<Version>"
Text = 620,150,0.5,0x000000,1,"<CD>"
Text = 618,152,0.5,0x808080,1,"<CD>"

LogoType= 3
Main = "\skin\RuDeDuDe2\RuDeDuDe_Part2.gif"

BarColor1 = 0x008000
BarColor2 = 0x808080
BarAlpha = 0.5
MenuColor1 = 0x808000
MenuColor2 = 0x800000

Here is the properties of the pic

RuDeDuDe_Part2

it is a GIF image

Am I doing something wrong, is it not possible sad.gif Please say its possible

I'm afraid that you've answered your own question.  It only recognizes .JPG images.  Evox does not recognize .gif files.  Animated or otherwise.

If you want animations, you'll have to switch to another dashboard.
