I'm a newb and need help in adding skins to my xbox. I dont even know where to start. I have Evox and avalaunch I would like to know how to add skins to both? Information will be appreciated.

well download a skin, most times they come in a .rar file add the extracted folder to the Skin directory

do i need somekind of software for my computer to do this

you need a router or crossover cable and you need something like winrar to extract the files from the .rar file.

You can download user submitted skins for any of the xbox apps.

When you download a skin it'll be either in zip or rar format. Once uncompressed just FTP to your skins folder. Reboot xbox and you should be able to switch to the skin then.

ya u gotta get winrar and then extract it to wherever i do mine to the desktop easire to kno where it is  then after that u need flash fxp to get into ur box, and u also need your ip address once u have that u also need the password and all that mumble jumble.  Then once you do all this then u can see all ur gnarly files inside ur xbox.  
After doing all of this for skins i think their in the c drive/folder and find skins once u have done that on the left side of flash fxp you gotta find the skin and once u have it select the folder u want it to go into then right click transfer and ur all done then just reboot ur box and look for the skin in the skin section on ur evox dash and load that bitch up.....
