I've Tried Everything

EvoX (3905?)
Read every tutorial, did every possible thing fifteen times and checked it all in triplicate...
-I took some images, sized them to proper size, edited a "working" skin.ini to match my stuff, didn't work when I uploaded.
-So I loaded up the skin I had reverse-engineered... didn't work.
-Downloaded a new skin, followed all instructions, no work.

I even deleted the directory on my box and made sure the case fit, then inspected the .ini's to make sure they matched again and nutn.

So here's a random skin I've been trying.
I FTP'd a Fable skin I found, the .ini reads:
SkinName "Fable","Fable"

[Skin_Fable]

Text   =   38,420,0.5,0x00ffff,0,"Text<IP><SpaceE>"
Text   =   48,370,0.5,0x00FFFF,0,"Text<SpaceC>"
Text   =   38,320,0.5,0x00FFFF,0,"Text<SpaceF>"
Text   =   68,140,0.5,0x00FFFF,0,"Text<Time>"
Text   =   48,230,0.5,0x00FFFF,0,"Text<IP>"
Text   =   428,150,0.5,0x00FFFF,0,"Text<CD>"

LogoType=   4

Main   =   "\skin\Fable\fable 1.jpg"
Launch   =   "\skin\Fable\fable2 cover.jpg"

BarColor1   =   0x000000
BarColor2   =   0x000000
BarAlpha   =   0.5
MenuColor1   =   0x00FFFF
MenuColor2   =   0x00FFFF

Seems valid to me. It's located in:
C:\skin\Fable\
...and I didn't screw with any of the files in the process...

Any idea what's going on? I noticed someone mentioning sometimes installing multiple skins makes random ones not work (even though I'd only done one), so (just to make sure I'd exhausted every possibility) I installed a whole mess of skins just to make sure if that was going on, then at least SOME of them should peek out of the mess... nutn.

Random note: This is a post-Project-Mayhem two-standard-skins EvoX...

WTH?

*cough* If anyone ever has this problem, a soft-modded EvoX keeps its skins in the fonts folder. End.

Just in case anyone ever searches for this puppy.
