I regularly select the Audio stream and Subtitles while playing VOBs with XBMC, it's one of the buttons on the controller.

Anyway just grap the latest version of EvoX and ftp it over to whereever your dash is loading from. Use a file manager like DVD2xbox to manually launch the XBE to see if that is the dash file. Likely to be on C drive, named evoxdash.xbe or default.xbe.
