and on my xbox, when i ftp it, i cant find default.xbe or default.cfg, i looked in folders C,D,E,F,G,X,Y,Z.

Check if you have an evoxdash.xbe on C drive.

default.xbe and default.cfg comes from the XBMC download's tools folder. Instructions for chipped bios are slightly different than those for softmod.

I wasn't jumping on you. I was merely pointing out that all of the searching you were doing was one page away. We get so many people on here asking how to ??, when the answer may be in the FAQs or answered within that forum.

Take some time to read the other posts. Go back a few pages. I learned more in the first two weeks after joining this site because I read almost every post for pages. I wanted to learn what problems others were having and what mistakes they were making. Learning from the mistakes of others allows us not to make the same mistakes.

My biggest mistake when starting out modding the Xbox was typing in the eeprom to lock a HD. I didn't fully read and understand the instructions in Xboxhdm. Now I tell people to NEVER type in the eeprom. I bricked two hard drives. This was before HDDUnlock came around to unlock them.
