ok, so i have a xecuter 2.6 with evox dashboard and i was playing a game off the hard drive when i did the in game reset it went to the ms dash board. now i can't get the evox dashboard back. i've tried boot disks but they won't even read anymore. and i can't ftp till i get that dashboard back. i don't know what happened or how to fix it. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Open up your xbox and check if D0 has come loose.

DO?? what. the mod chip does enable. it turns on and when i start up the xbox it says xecuter at load up. it just doesn't go to the evox dashboard.

If chip is working, then boot disc should work. Previously the boot disc works right?

do a complete reinstall of dash from ftp. just try that.

i lost my last boot disk, i put this chip in so long ago. so i've been trying to burn a new one, but i'm not having any luck at all. i've tried it on cd-r/rw and dvd-r/rw all four don't work. as for ftp i can't with out the dash. i just can't get into the console with my computer.

Is your hdd locked? If not locked, connect to PC with xplorer360. If locked, hotswap to use xplorer360 and fix your file problem.
