Hi my name is Tim and I am new to this forum so if I have posted in the wrong section do forgive me. I have sucessfully installed EvoX on my Xbox with XBMC with no previous experience of doing so but I have one possibly small problem.

Whenever I put a game in the DVD drive and load it up, with the EvoX dashboard already loaded or straight away from the disk tray, it resets back to the blue softmod installer screen after I reset the Xbox again (with the disk out). I just don't know what to do.

I would appreciate any help and I am glad that I have joined such a great community! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I don't know what package you used to softmod the Xbox, but I would get CASH ver 1.1 to upgrade it to Krazie's Ndure 1.1.1.

If that doesn't fix the problem, reply here.

What I did was update my dashboard with Halo 2 (Forgot what number it was) and then I got the SID installer to get the mod running through Splinter Cell.

Alright I will try your method hotjob but is CASH v1.1 on Xbins?  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

An alternative is to get Kingroach Ndure. Evox will give you ftp access so you can ftp the files created in. C folder contents to C drive , E folder contents to E drive. Kingroach Ndure uses a slightly newer version of Nkpatcher kernel patcher.

By the way, if you haven't backup your eeprom, please do that and keep it safe on your PC before you do anything else.

I'm trying 1hotjobs method as we speak and it's ok so far, although it took all night and most of today to get CASH v1.1  (IMG:style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)
