Well, I was trying to install XBMC and long story short I renamed the xboxdash.xbe to something obscure and left if on the drive AND left the default.xbe (from the XBMC install) as just that...then rebooted. I was not even thinking I would lose FTP access to the box without the dashboard. Well, I THOUGHT I would have a dashboard but....

What can I do to get back in and change the file names back?

If you are soft modded run the exploit again. If you are chipped run Slayer's.

But I did not do the mod, another guy did about 4 years ago. Is Slayers downloadable or torrent found?
