Hey guys.. ive been in the scene for a long time but since school i havent had too too much time for it mcuh.. but i brought back my original xbox for my nephuees and i am having troubles FTPing the xbox.. everything is setup correctly..

The problem is (i will post later on today.. too tried now.. the info from flashFXP) that i cannot connect.. it does say connected to 192.... but then it hangs at something about ASCI (will let u know for sure tomarrow)..

I have been away from teh scene for a bit since school but use to ftp daily as well as a bit while at school.. but since the last time i ftped ive upgraded OSs and prolly dont a few formats..

I believe it may be a problem with my windows firewall.. As theres a problem with it so i cant even open it.. i have looked online for fixes and found 2 possible fixes.. did both and still not working.. i installed a 3rd party firewall to see if it helped but it didn't.. im about 90% sure its the firewall and if its not then its gotta be the network card in my laptop as i took it downstairs to my desktop and was able to ftp it fine..


So basically does anyone know how i can fix this??

If not.. Does anyone know how to REINSTALL OR INSTALL the windows firewall.. i think mine may be corrupted (did find a removal tutorial but it also didn't work)..

dont know if you tryed this, but turn off the firewall. just to see if it works. then you can move on to other possibilities if that dont work for you
