Softmod Autoinstaller?
« on: March 27, 2007, 01:13:00 PM »

Is there an autoinstaller available for softmods that uses EvoX?  I've found/used ones that use UnleashX, but was wondering if there was an autoinstaller I could use instead of having to manually setup EvoX as the default dashboard.

Thanks in advance.

If you softmod it with Krayzies Ndure (use v1.1.1) then you have the option of picking EvoX or UnleashX during the install. You can also use CASH to change it to UnleashX, EvoX, Avalaunch, or XBMC if you wanted to also.

Thanks.  I've just downloaded "Krayzie_007_Ndure_Installer_v1.1.rar" (as I'll be using 007 AUF).

I've never heard of CASH before... sounds like it's an app to automatically change the dashboard.  I can't seem to find it on "the usual place"... is it an acronym or do you have a path?

CASH is just a softmod helper disc to assist with installing dashs and programs and reformatting a softmod if needed and or upgrading a softmod. They won't host in in the usual place due to size and containing the entire M$dash. You'll just have to search for it, can't link it.  wink.gif

And BTW, CASH is an acronym for "Cerealkilla's Automated Softmod Helper"  smile.gif

You don't have FTP access until the box is softmodded. How would you suppose you could FTP to it if the mod isn't installed?

Temporarily installing a modchip.  I own 3 xbox's.  I use the modchip to upgrade the hard drive but use the softmod to boot the altered bios.  I figured, maybe, I could install the chip, ftp in, alter some files, and wallah.. new dash.  But me not know how du stuff be workin.  Me just follow tuts.  Heh.

I tell ya.. what I would like to find is a description on how everything works so I know exactly what each file does.  I'll be honest, there are alot of files on that root that I have know idea what it is for or if it is even needed.  I wish I had the info so I could clean it all up.  Just don't have time to research everything.  Sucks being a 34 year old kid that works 60 hours a week and goes to school.  smile.gif
